Im a raider fan but i don't see the logic in this. they have nobody that can make the team better.

With Peterson, He was asking for around 9 million a year. A ton of cash for a guy coming off knee surgery.

As for Lloyd, he wanted to leave. So he was traded to the Redskins for a 3rd rounder used to get Manny Lawson and a 4th rounder next year

Lloyd dropped to many normal balls, Bryant could be better. Peterson is a question mark, with his injuries.

I too am a raiders fan, and I would rather have McNair vs brooks.

Because the Mike Nolan is going in a different direction and wants all of his own guys there. You see this a lot on teams that aren't very good to begin with. There was also the cap hit they would have had to take. Cut them now and you only have to pay so much against the cap and it diminishes every year they are not there. Oh yeah, and the owners are extremely cheap.

Mike Nolan will do well with this team, as Art will do with yours. However, your team should be better than the Niners. The record may not show it though as you have a much tougher division than the Cardinals, the Rams, and the one hit wonder Seahawks.

well Peterson wanted a big contract and niners didnt want to spend that much $$. agree he was really good, but its what they did.
as far as Lloyd goes, he was having some problems in the locker room and his contract was up. so Nolan decided to let my go.
They'll be ok this season tho, they'll still do better then the Raiders. haha
