| Clinton Portis' knee tendinitis is acting up again. Should I trade him? If so, for who? |
|
According to Washington Times reports, Redskins RB Clinton Portis, who missed the entire preseason with tendinitis in his right knee, wasn't in pads Monday because of the knee as the Redskins returned to practice after a six-day break. "His knee is still a little agitated, and we'll see how it goes this week," coach Joe Gibbs said. "It was just a soreness that came out of (the Sept. 23 loss to the New York Giants)." The Redskins say the injury is minor, but tendinitis forced Portis to miss all of training camp, so it's a major concern. |

Keep him for now, you already have his backup Betts. Portis'll play this week I'd bet, but if something goes down, you have Betts and then you can drop Portis for someone else later. |

Fantasy Sports Section Joe Gibbs, is that you??? Why are you on yahoo answers??? Maybe you should have your team doctors take another look at his condition and get back to us. A pro football coach should always ask the opinion of common folk when deciding who should play or not. Washington Post is reporting that it's a minor sprain that occured in the first quarter of the Giants game and he's just taking it light in practice. He will play Sunday Buy low, sell high. |
