The first day of football camp is coming up soon, and I'm thinking of ways to make a good impression, not just for the coaches, but also to establish myself as a leader of the team. The first day of camp is just with the freshman, so I won't have any trouble with being intimidated by upperclassmen. I'm thinking of some good trash talking phrases that I can use, and of course a cool victory dance will help!

how about just playing hard

keep your PIE hole shut and listen to your coaches and make plays that will be the best impression you can leave
work hard and stay out trouble study hard as well

If you want to be a leader, trash talking to your own teammates isn't the way to go about it. Start by working harder than everybody else and encourage the others on the team. A team leader needs to be respected by his teammates. You won't impress anybody - not the coaches, worst player on the team, or an All-State Senior - by being a jackass.
