i am starting this new position and was wondering if anyone has ever been and recevier and knows which cleats work the best and are lightweight and help with speed and agilty.

Former Oakland Raider, You should continue to run sprints to gain agility. As far as good cleats, it really doesnt matter. Dont get none that are to heavy for you. Make sure you feel construble and make sure their black.

The reason I say it doesnt matter, is because imagine Randy Moss with the worst cliets ever. Do you think he will slow down? Dont think so. It really doesnt matter, its all in your head.

As far as newer cleats go, check out the Nike Super Speed D (low) or the Nike Vapor Jet TD's. The vapor jets are extremely light, some of the lightest cleats I've worn. However...what type of cleats you get wont really make that much of a difference with speed and agility.
I've played wearing adidas Quickslant 5's and also Quickslant D's...i liked both models and to tell you the truth...theres not much difference when i wear the Quickslant's or the Vapor Jets. In the end what it comes down to is personal preference..whatever you feel comfortable playing in.
