well you should probably choose between nike and adidas. the nike Tota 90 III Airzoom is great and gives you a lot of shooting power. the Adidas +30 is a reasonable shoe for passing. there are also many other adidas shoes which go +(number goes here) but the +30 is affordable and reasonably good. if you want passing skills get adidas if you want shooting and power take nike.

Get the new underarmor cleets they rock

I recomend mid cuts because they offer support and flexability, a high top will restrict your foot movement but help extremly well if you have bad ankles.
