Equipment in college?

So do colleges, division 1-3, supply their players with everything like cleats, pads, pad accessories and other stuff like wristbands and sweatbands. So would a player just go to the equipment manager and ask for a new pair of cleats with special modifications or would they go to the equipment manager and ask for a couple packs of wristbands and some gloves or do the players have to buy all the accessories like that for themselves.

I'm sure they buy their own specialized equipment like gloves cleats wristbands. They provide the shoulder pads, helmets, etc. but no the college players buy their own things as do the professional players.

Most major colleges have deals with Nike, Reebok, Adidas, UnderArmor, etc that supply them with equipment for the student athletes. Smaller colleges may not have the sponsorships, but I have never heard of a scholarship athlete providing his/her own equipment.
