What equipment do I need for high school football, and what is provided?

Jock and cup, cletes, and the rest should be lent to you by the team.

Make sure you get a cup

First you must ask what does your team supply, but common needs for the sports would be thigh pads, shoulder pads, helmet, GOOD football shoes, gloves (depends on what position, and how well you want to perform), and a cup of course, apart from those others and some of these items will be provided by your team

You'll need everything that football players wear.
