What are the best thigh pads for a high school cornerback?

i am a varsity football player; cornerback. for this season i am looking to buy some of my own gear. what are the best (lightest or smallest) thigh pads and knee pads for me. I dont like going without them but i need something lightweight so i do not get slowed down. thanks

when i was in college the cornerbacks that i played with used to take the huge thigh pads and inside them was a tiny plastic pad that they wrap the big huge pad over...i dont know if it is still legal but its is super thin and super light...

some of the pro's are trying the new air pads light and flexable, if you can find them they are greay, try Voit.com

Contact your local University and ask their equipment manager what he would recommend

If you are playing cornerback you definately want something lightweight.

i dont know.sorry :(

Schutt Football Pads are very lightweight and give great protection. Plus, they are very affordable. You can get some from Eastbay.

If you are playing cornerback you definately want something lightweight.

your high school coach has equipment catalogs. look through those and see whats in their

the same as the pros put on
