I am so sick of these fake fans. Last year EVERYONE in my area were Gator fans, wearing the National Championship gear and saying"GO GATORS" now we have lost 2 games with a very young team just like we were supposed to and now all these people are jumping off and going to USF.I like USF and pull for them but I am a Gator and always will be.If we were to go 0-12 ,I am still a Gator.So next year when we go back to the top don't try to get on the bandwagon.

The Gators play Hawaii and Miami next year and if we go undefeated(which we will) I know there will be about 1,000,000 new "FANS".

I remember Dallas back around in about 98-02, they weren't the team they once were, so people hopped off and went with 1)Rams 2)Patriots or 3)Titans
so now we have Romo, T.O., Jones, and Williams, and their like "I LOVE THIS TEAM!" They weren't good enough then, so they aren't good enough now...thats the way I look at it. I live and die with Dallas, no matter what.

i can not stand bandwagon fans!!! you are not alone!!! it was the same exact way when LSU won the national championship in 03. i dont evan own any national champ shirts and hate when i see people on saturdays games wearing them... your bandwagon fans will be back next year. yall have a really great young team at florida..

It's one thing to be loyal when your team is going through a rough decade (like Washington in the first answer)...but to bail on a 2-loss team that just one a championship...yeah, definitely ridiculous.

Who cares about the fake fans, anyway? If they arent real fans, then I'm sure they didn't get to really enjoy UF's glory last year either.

The Cowboys have a huge bandwagon. When the Cowboys went 1-15 in 1989, I looked around and the wagon was awful empty. Just a short three years later, everyone was a Cowboy fan again. After their last Super Bowl win, the bandwagon population slowly dwindled until we saw Bill Parcells was hired as head coach and things began to pick up. Like you and your Gators, I have been a Cowboys fan through feast and famine and it makes me sick to see those who jump off at the first curve or two. Last weeks game in Buffalo was a good example. True Fans who doubted the team and shouted at the televisions to pull Romo. As bad as it was, I never lost the faith鈥ven when T.O. dropped two passes in a row. Keep the Faith, my Good Fan.

ya...i have been a texas longhorns fan my whole life...and i see people jump off and jump on all the time...really annoying...i saw one guy jump off at the rose bowl game when we almost lost...he broke his leg and when we won he wasnt able to get on the wagon in time

Agreed. The same goes in reverse too. I remember going to USF games when you couldn't GIVE tickets away, now everyone wants to camp out and make my ticket-getting experience horrible. It's a good problem to have, perhaps....I like to see new fans or maybe people not into sports have a good time too.

However, it's annoying when people don't know **** about your team, like USF, and you've been around for a long time!

Even though I am a Bull, and that's where my money goes, I was born and raised a Gator, and will stick with them to the end as well. When it comes to Bulls vs. Gators though, I'll be Bulls through and through. Any other team vs. Gators, I'm right there man. I've been through Spurrier, Zook, and now Urban. Not about to change.

I'll be with Leavitt until he goes elsewhere. I remember going to USF games when ARMY beat us at HOMECOMING. Yea. So shove it bandwagoneers!$!@%@%

A Bandwaggon Fan is like a friend or relative that your not all that close to through the years ...until you win the Lottery, then you see them all the time ! Its pathetic ! Trojan/Steeler fan here ! Last year with the steelers, all our previous super bowl fans bailed with an 8-8 record in 06, this year with my Trojans we lose to Stanford and get set back to # 10 and all the sudden i see fewer and fewer fans ! It gives us TRUE FANATICS a bad rep ! What makes me feel better is callin out these so-called fans by asking them questions only a true fan would know ! You'd be suprised that 80% of bandwaggon fans cant even tell you who the head coach of their so-called team is !

That's telling them,actually the Gators should not feel bad after taking the current #1 team to the limit before losing,being a Longhorn fan and realizing that Texas was not in the same caliber as the other big schools,I still wear my Longhorn shirt
