Looking for something with a good grip, and keeping grip when wet/muddy/etc. is important, as is keeping at least some water or cold from the hands.

Already able to catch very well and consistently, but when the weather gets cold or windy I have trouble catching bare handed, just looking for something to help with this.

All football gloves go for the same effect: they all want you to buy them because the have great grip and protect your hands - maybe even keep your hands warm on cold days.

I don't let our receivers wear gloves at all.
They come to team try outs and look stunned when I tell them they will play without them.

And...we have the best receivers in the state.

I teach them the need to feel the ball.

They do wear rubber sleeves to keep the ball in place when running.
And on cold days we have hand warmers on the sidelines - I pay for those myself.

I HAVE taped the first knuckle to support distal capsules.

Focus is what's going to help you catch that ball and gloves will be a detriment in the wet and mud.

I like some Under Armor reciever gloves. The grip is great, but not like there is glue stuck on them. The price range is not too bad either for a nice pair

try cutters. they are are about $50-$60 depending on were you get them but they are worth every penny. its like having glue on ur hands.

My team prefers palmguard gloves.
