I mean I have the Under Armour Blitz gloves for the breathability, flexibility, and grip. It really helps on defense as an LB as well as a FB. I would have gotten the Demolitions, but I found they're not as easy to move my fingers around and they're really thick (hands sweat really quickly.

I played qb for 6 years and then I had a growth spurt, I only changed one peice of equipment and that was to thicker shoulder pads, I went from qb/mlb to DE I loved to use the Under Armor gloves and lightweight rib protector, I think it really helped me to catch balls in the air, block kicks, and recover Fumbles better. So therefore if you dont mind having small cuts and bruises on your hands I would say go for the gloves that are comfortable. I also sweat alot and found that those gloves are muchy better for that reason as well.

Well skill position gloves don't really have any padding at all so if your hand gets caught in between a couple helmets or something your screwed. As opposed to the Demolitions that have padding and will protect your hands. If you're not a receiver I don't suggest wearing skilled position gloves. In a position like LB and even FB I'd use the padded gloves.
