what are the differances i want a glove with grip (like that c-tack thing or w/e) we're starting a new season of foot ball at my school and im center but occasionally ill go thru the middle for a few yards...and some times i actually get a td from that short pass (actually running...for a big guy im pretty fast hehe) i was just wondering what kind i should get...brand? price?...thanks for all your help haha cetner sneaks work once in a while...just nedda kno when to do it. i've actually ran the for td because they never expect it and never see me and when they eventually do im like 5-10 yards away from every 1 |

receiver gloves r thinner and have a different type of grip on them than lineman gloves. lineman gloves r padded so u dont hurt urself. if ur mainly playin center id go 4 the lineman gloves. if youre really concerned about cathing passes and running the ball u can try linebacker gloves which r still padded (though not as much as lineman gloves) and have better amount of grip. try going 2 www.eastbay.com and lookin up gloves there. they usually have a good selection u can choose from. as a side note i think nike and cutters make the best quality glove...but thats just my opinion the best gloves for you are lineman gloves. Not only they offer better protection for your hands, they also have some "glue" in the palm of the hand. There was a receiver at Tulsa a few years back who taped thumb tacks to his hands. Eventually an official saw it and made him remove the junk. |
