| How do football players play with no gloves in snow? |
|
i was watching last weeks monday night game and noticed that brett favre and others werent wearing gloves during the game despite it snowing and being cold. Ive played in games where its been snowing outside and my hands were almost frozen. does anybody know how they do it? somebody told me players use a gel that numbs their hands so they cant feel anything? |

QB's don't like to wear gloves, because they can't "feel" the ball. I remember one game when Joe Montana was playing for the KC Chiefs. The windchill was well below zero and he tried to play with gloves on. They went 3 and out. Needless to say when he came back out again, no gloves. That's why they wear the little "fanny pack" . They keep warmers in them. I would find it almost impossible to do though. |

Gel that numbs there hands?....How would Favre throw the ball? That is one of the dumbest things i've ever heard....They have the warmers around there waist.......Comes in handy since they aren't on the field the whole game..... the pack nevr wear gloves or sleeves so they can mentally itimidate thier opponet but the patriots do wear gloves if you've played any kinda sport i don't know how you can ask that......playing sports is like a moment of temporary insanity, nothing else matters, and your oblivious to everything I don't know either; maybe they're used to it. well there are about 3 reason y they dont wear gloves i played in my younger day and well depending on ur position the ball keeps ur hands warm andu have these sleeves under ur pads that make it real hot and somehow makes ur hands warm and lastin the locker room it is quite warm QB's use hand warmers on the field and heavy coats off the field. There is no such gel, otherwise, Favre and others wouldn't be able to control the ball. Because they're real men, not sissies, except for most of the quarterbacks. |
