|In the NFL, what does that green dot on some players helmets mean?|
I've noticed that on some of the NFL players helmets, not all of them, some have a green dot on them. What is that green dot there for?
It doesnt mean anything. Some people just like stickers. Whats wrong with that?
That green dot means that the player is not gay. Not every player has one though.
usually only the quarterback has one on his helmet, and it means that it is a helmet that can communicate with the head coach.
green dot means that, that player is allowed to drink red bull and thus has wings.
The green dot means that the player can have a radio in his helmet.
its put on there for the purposes of answers.yahoo.com so people can ask this question over and over again so they can set a world record for most asked question ever
its an expiriment that the nfl is doing to see how many people will ask what the green dots on players helmets are
it means you need to go to the special school and learn how to read since it is week 6 and this question has been asked it least 100 times, it gets asked every week. You should never be allowed to ask another question for repeating this question.
Well, Invading aliens hate NFL quarterbacks, so the NFL made a deal, if they promise to not harm any of the fans or other players, they would mark the QB's helmet with a green sticker that has a homing beacon in it. All the aliens have to do is press their handy little QB zapper button and it will home in on the green stickers, ridding the aliens of those pesky NFL QBs forever, but saving all the fans and other players from certain doom!
It means that they are constipated and should be handled gently so they don't get the crap knock out of them.
The dots on the helments represent training camp points, and I don't know for sure if the rookies only get them?!
From what I understand it marks the helmet with the communication capability which is odd to me because one would think that the players wore the same helmet all the time and therefore wouldnt need to have it marked
the green dot is saying that there is a head piece that he can talk to a couch with....only one person can have one on the field at once on both sides...QB's usually have them but they dont have to a RB or WR can or any position can
The green dot is a new rule in effect for the '07 NFL season. The green dot helmet signals that the helmet is wired with a radio for calling in plays..
Its not just quarter backs. Any player with a green dot on the back of their helmet has a radio in their helmet so they can hear the coaches. It's to prevent cheating.
The "SEARCH" function is your friend. Use it.
It means you don't know what the search button is for.
It means they're the only ones that can see that yellow line on the field (besides the viewing audience)
OK HI only the QB has it and that they have a radio in the helmet. OK
Usually only QB's wear those top signify that they're QB's.
