the nfl quarterback helmets have like a green sticker in the back of them...why?

It's a St.Patricks day thing.

I think this has been asked a million times since the season started. The green dot indicates that the helmet has comm gear with the sideline. There is only supposed to be one linked helmet on the field at a time.

That's the helmut with the radio in it.

OK that enough of the green dot questions i had it. time to hang my self because I'm tried of people asking about green dot on the quarterback helmets for the last 5 weeks and my Rams are 0-3 bye.

That helmet with the green dot means he use a prepaid credit card from western union! That helmet has a transceiver in it to talk to the coaches. NFL rules only allow one helmet with a radio per team (thanks patriots),next thing you know, y'all will be video taping hand signals from all the teams for strategic purposes. Oops!

The green dot lets the officials kno which players have a communication device in thier helmet.
