In the past, you may have seen one (MAYBE two) flying football helmets per game. But this season, it's more like 6 to 10 flying helmets per game.

Someone else asked this question a while back (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... but I don't buy the answer. Football players don't all of the sudden forget how to put them on correctly.

So, what's the deal with the football helmets this season? Did they redesign the chinstrap?

I think it is the dreadlocks won't allow the helmet to grip the head like it should. Pay attention from now on and see if I'm not right. 9 out of ten players that get their helmets knocked off are wearing dreads.
