Thanks for answering, and not being assholes about it. Apparently more than one moron watches the shitty broadcasts given by ESPN on Monday nights. If only I had just tuned in to listen to the wisdom of Tony Kornheiser and Ron Jaworski, I could have learned and not had to ask. Shame on me for watching something worthwhile and not listening to broadcasters who have no business broadcasting. I'm such a ****!

For most teams its for the QB with a headset but in New England it also designates all of the defensive lineman who have headsets in their shoulder pads
and for all of the coaches in the stands videoing the opposing coaches signals

all the green dot does is lets you know that the helmet has a mic inside for the QB

damn u know everybody who has watched a sunday night or monday night football game asks this question. so instead of saying its the helmet with the receiver in it so that the qb can communicate with the offensive coordinator. im going to say the green dot is so the brain surgeons will no where to drill when another dumb *** asks this question.

I have not seen this green dot, but I was told that only homosexuals can see the sticker. If you see it as green it means you are a "catcher". I have not seen this "catcher" in football so I, too, am confused.
