I need to wash my son's football helmet and pads, what should I use? I thought about vinegar water? I don't know if there is something else people would recomend?

Put them in a tub of soapy water and soak for a while Then rinse them the same way with fabric softener in the water and dry out on the porch on the end of a broom stick.

If you soak your pads they will eventually tear apart. You definately need to clean the equipment. One site suggests a dip in 3% hydrogen peroxide after a towel cleaning. Report It

you would have to use like those things you use to wash your car tires with bristles on them or a tooth brush i don't know about the liquid.

as for the shoulder pads you can juss leave them

Why clean the helmet those are honor marks....Pads will be nasty by the next game anyways......The work is not worth it!!!!!!!

FEBREEZE!!!! IT WORKS ALL THE TIME. MY BROTHER PLAYS FOOTBALL AND THE COACHES MAKE THE PLAYERS KEEPS THEIR PADS AND HELMETS IN THE LOCKER ROOM BUT WHENEVER YOU GET THE CHANCE GO TO THE STORE AND BUY FEBREEZE, IT IS EVEN AT THE DOLLAR STORE. IT IS CHEAPER TO BUY IT AT THE DOLLAR STORE BUT ONLY SOME PLACES HAVE FEBREEZE AT THEIR DOLLAR STORES, LIKE WE HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER STATE TO BUY SOME, BUT OTHER THAN THAT HERE ARE FOUR STORES THAT I WOULD RECCOMEND CHECKING:

WALMART
MEIJER
TARGET
DOLLAR STORE ( JUST TO SEE IF THEY HAVE IT)
