HELP!! |

The same thing happened to me when I started to played football. But keep in mind that the helmet is suppose to be very tight. You have a few options. One is go to your coach and ask your coach to let some air out of your helmet. (On the back of your helmet is a little hole, your coach should have a little pump and if you put the pump in the hole it changes the amount of air in the padding side of the helmet.) Or you could just wear the helmet. After a while you get used to the helmet and it does not hurt anymore. It may be hard to wear your helmet because I know how bad it hurts, but trust me you will get used to it. |

Wear it more often eventually the padding will compact itself. Do you have a Barry Bonds head, get one custom Are you sure you can't find a bigger helmet at a sports equipment store? If not, you'll have to have one custom made. Big head, big brain. lol (or whatever) Good luck, hon! :) How about reducing the size of your head? Larger helmets are available but too expensive for high schools. Get a bigger one. If you have the kind that have the air padding you could release some of the air. loosen it sounds like you either need to get a custom made helmet, or try some brain shrinking exercises, like smoking pot and drinking. get a hair cut get a helment that fit dummy Without knowing your age and size hope this fills you in.... |
