I have a Schutt DNA football helmet and a regular Football America helmet pump. Its easy enough to put the air in, or pump it up, but I'm having trouble deflating the pads. There's gotta be an easy way to do it.

easiest way is to act like you are going to pump it, but when you hear air start leaking out where the needle goes (if it is like most) just let it release some pressure. it doesnt take much to deflate it some. you should never deflate it all the way either because it can cause your seals to go bad

just take out head and blow in ear. lmao!!!

Most air pumps have a release valve on the side of the pump, if yours doesn't then simply screw off the needle and just insert the needle to release as much air as you need. Hope this helps.

Put your needle in it and let the air leak out until its deflated to where you want it to be at. lol or you could just pop the pad, just joking.
