| Football helmet for concussion? |
|
i play highschool football and have recently gotten a concussion... it is my second one or quite possibly third (theyre not sure if i had 1 or 2 different ones this time) but i have a revolution helmet but im wondering if theres any special helmets for players that frequently get concussions |

The Revolution helmet is suppose to reduce the risk of getting a concussion. By no means the helmet is suppose to prevent you from getting a concussion. "Today, research shows that players wearing the Riddell Revolution are 31% less likely to suffer a concussion when compared to traditional football helmets" |

uhh "don't play till you are completely over it" helmet. I don't think they are one well the revolution helmet is sapost to prevent from getting concussions that was the soul perpose in the design of the rev helmet. OUCH!!! A long ways back there was an LSU player on special teams who every time (or just about) he tackled the return man he would get a concussion and the other player would fumble the ball. They designed a special helmet for him so he wouldn't kill himself. See if you can find something about it. No but the more concussions you have the more likely you are to have more. If your doctors aren't sure how many you have had your best bet is to AT LEAST sit out until next season. If you have 2 or 3 concussions so far and play in 1 more game you are likely to have another one this season. If you have more than one game left you are almost certain to have another this season. Let your brain heal. |
