|How do they determine which team wears the white jerseys during the Superbowl?|
the home team wears its colored one
The team with the best record is the home team and they decide.
Best record gets to be the home team. Home team gets their choice of Uniforms. Most teams wear their dark unis at home. Notable exceptions Cowboys wear white at home and on the road most of the time as well.
I think it switches year to year between AFC and NFC teams where the team designated the home team based on which conference's record gets to decide which uniforms to wear. The Steelers in Super Bowl XL wore white despite being the home team because they had won three road games in those uniforms and were believing in superstition. As was mentioned, the Cowboys wear white, and the Redskins have worn white jerseys as the home team.
Patrick M is correct.
The home team gets to pick if they want to wear home or away like the regular season. They alternate home and away.
the team with the better season record... which the Bears had the better season.
The designated home team alternates each year, and generally the home team chooses to wear it's home jersey (not always color --the Cowboy's home is the white one).
The team with the better record is the home team...
