| How do authentic football jerseys fit? |

I am trying to buy an AUTHENTIC football jersey for my fiance for Christmas, and could use a little help as to how they fit. I have gathered that 48=medium.....& 50=large....& so on. I know that he wants it to fit a little large, as they're supposed to. Do authentic football jerseys run true to size? Or do they automatically run large cuz they know that most guys want to wear them roomy. I want to know whether to go with 48 or 50. |

I am the Jersey king. Here is your answer. And the only one you need to listen to. I wear a large and an authentic is tighter on me. Its designed to stay closer to your body, that way when your wearing pads its not all loose and players can grab at it. The arm band will be tighter, and the jersey itself will stick to you. An authentic Jersey is the same size but its tighter to your body. Its also not as long, as it is tighter. By the way I wonder what the He*L that chick above me is talking about? lol |

i would say small he isnt wearin pads under like a pro whats your point? Go by his shirt size. If he is a large, get a 48. If he is a medium, get a 46. I would go with a 50. They now make jerseys true to size because most of the people who buy them do not where pads underneath. over your head with your arms in the other 2 holes....duh They usually fit a little oversized to allow for the padding and everything. If you want a standard fit, you should get a size smaller than what he usually wears. |
