I don't think you can change the name and number on a jersey (you might but I have never heard of it). So I would just buy a new one. To make sure you can keep that jersey you can buy someone who has a long contract for their team that you like. I bought a Peppers jersey because he's a beast and has a long contract with the Panthers.
