Im looking to buy an authentic football jersey in the next few days. I want one that looks good, can be worn on a regular basis, and is of a good player. Right now I have the list narrowed down to Urlacher, Leinart, Brees,Brady Quinn. I want one that hasnt become too trendy already. Every other jersey you see out there is over played. If you can suggest any other player that I may have left out, or forgotten, that would be awesome. Thanks for your help.

Im kinda leaning towards Leinart or Brees, because they have the cinched sleeves. I dont like the big poofy sleeves that are open ended. If you know of any other players who's jersey comes with cinched sleeves throw 'em at me,please.

I would go with a Leinart or Brees jersey. What Brees did in New Orleans is unbelievable and you can't go wrong with that one. Leinart has some great young talent around him and it's possible that he can be great for a long time in the league. Either of those are good choices.

Um NOT too trendy but Urlacher, Leinart, Brees are options? They're all over the place. Of those I would pick Brees, the Saints black uniforms look good. Browns jerseys look like crap and Quinn isn't even a starter yet. Since you seem to just like football in general (those guys are all over the place), why not get one of an awesome retired player like Curtis Martin, Barry Sanders, Young or Montana, or something like that? You could find them on e-bay.

I'd eliminate Quinn from the list due to the fact that most of the time there has been a QB flap at the draft, the second one fails. Compare the careers of some guys named Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf. Also, the last Notre Dame QB that amounted to anything in the NFL was Joe Montana.

Since you don't want a "trendy" jersey, Urlacher and Leinart are out, so the one that's left is Brees. If you want to go for a popular player, but not trendy, Polamalu from the Steelers just signed a contract extension.

Are you people all brain dead? First off, i'm a Raider fan. I know i know, booo. But hold up. The jersey to buy even in Raider Nation is the powder blue LaDainian Tomlinson jersey. LT is not trendy either. The powder blue is the key. Now there is a retro white with powder blue accents but those are real rare. Very limited. Good luck!

In buying an authentic jersey, I'd advise that you pay careful attention to where you are buying it from, and there are people who have the mindset of justifying their purchase from shady sellers by the amount of money saved. They're not saving money, so much as they're throwing it in the garbage, since that where that fake will end up. Counterfeit and bootleg jerseys are way too commonplace. My advise is to pick a jersey from a team you actually cheer for. Of those listed, while taking into consideration your want to avoid a common place jersey, you can scratch out Urlacher. Also, do you have a favorite college? Leinart went to USC and Quinn went to Notre Dame. Take that into consideration as well. As for me, I'd pick up a Vernon Davis or Frank Gore jersey, both play for my favorite San Francisco 49ers. However, those are eliminated because they don't have the cuffed sleeves you want.

Also of note, there are a few teams who will be coming out with swanky new alternates harkenening back to their cities early days such as the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Philadelphia Eagles to name a few. hmm...ladainian tomlinson's jersey would be my pic..and the chargers got a new uniform anyway so it should look sharp.i own one and people seem to like it very much, but i have the special gamess jersey which is the sky blue one. stitched letters and numbers..and even the lightning bolts are stitched on. looks great and people really admire it. got it at a swap meet in florida for about 70 bucks.. REALLY AUTHENTIC. u can get one at ur localswapmeet, or on ebay or amazon. or u can go to chargers.com and go to the online store where they sell worn jerseys and throwbacks. ladainian tomlinson authentics are around the range of 200 pesos buddy. good stuff dont come cheap. good luck

I bought my man a Carolina blue LT jersey its really nice so that would be my first choice but if not that I'd go for Brees. He's a good QB and the saints have a really nice jersey.
