Which sports jersey is better, authentic, replica or throwback. What is the difference?
Also, I have seen authentic Football jerseys on Ebay which sells for 30 something bucks, are those real?
Lastly, I have heard that authentic jerseys have cinched sleeves...is this true, if so, does tighten your arm a lot or something? Why do they have cinched sleeves? Thanks

The authentic jersey is supposed to be the model that is worn on the field. The numbers, names, insignias, are sewn on. Many replicas look very much like an authentic one, except some times the numbers, names, or stripes on the sleeves are screenprinted. I have been told by nflshop.com and clevelandbrowns.com that no authentic jerseys have any screenprinting on them. Cinched sleeves are correct as they allow a tighter fit under the shoulder pads. Authentic jerseys normally go for $200 to $250 depending on the player. Replicas go for about $70 and up. Be very careful when buying authentic jerseys via Ebay or other online sites. I recently purchased a Brady Quinn jersey advertised as authentic but it had screenprinted stripes on the sleeves.
Throwback jerseys are remakes of past years jerseys of star players, such as Marino, Montana, Staubach, Payton, etc. They are made to look authentic, but are in fact replicas, due to the players no longer being avtive. I hope this helps.

The authentic is what is closer to what the player wheres on the field. The throwback is a jersey they dont make any more or if a player is retired. replica is what is made in place of a authentic...OK... I like the authentic.......

Throwback. The player will not screw up n the field and 40 year old guys do not do stupid stuff and get arrested.

Authentic- Very close replica of what players wear on field.
Characteristics- Numbers, and name are stitched on, and size of jersey is number (Ex. Size 48)

Replica- Numbers and name of player are painted on, the ones that you usually fade after about 2 trips through the washer.

Throwback- An authentic jersey which represents past players (Julius Erving), as well as the look of the team's past jersey (Think Cremesicle Tampa Bay Bucs)
