Fat loss ideas for wrestling/football?

I am a freshman in highschool, football/wrestler/baseball...This is all good but I am severely overweight for my height 5'2 149 lbs. My previous wrestling club wantted my weight where it was. Now, my wrestling coach wants me down to 119 to fill a spot on the team that is empty (private school)

I think he knows I cannot do it right now, possibly for next year. The thing is (note he is also a football coach) I want to keep my frame (big pot belly, lol) for football so I do not have to change my position from Guard/Noseguard/DT to something like HB, WR, or Linebacker.

Is there any possible way to work in the offseason to work on my belly for wrestling (crunches, running etc.) and work to an ideal DE or TE (even though I am short) weight. Any suggestions for workouts are appreciated, I have the diet down.

You're in a weird spot right now. As a freshman you are most likely going to start to make your final growth spurt towards your adulthood height/weight. At 5'2 149, you can get away with playing d-line Freshman year however this will most likely not stick next year in JV. (depending on your school size) The wrestling coach wants you to fill the 119 spot because people of your height are usually the ones around that weight class. The only thing is, you might get taller and heavier so the 119 weight class might be out of the question for next year for you. Losing 30 lbs as a Fresman to get down to 119 would probably not be very healthy for you so my advice would be to wait until next year to wrestle. Go to all the off-season football things and see how your body shapes up in the off-season. That will determine your ideal wrestling weight. I wouldn't plan on it being 119 either.
