Is he the next college coach to flop in the NFL. He just released Grady Jackson a veteran and leader of the falcons defense with no explanation. Deangelo Hall went crazy saying they can cut him too. Does this guy not know how to run a ball club or what. They always look down at hall for talking bad about the coach, but what about how Ol'Coach always talks down about Harrington to the media, sounds like a hippocrite to me

All this makes Jim Mora and Dan Reeves look like Bill Walsh.

Grady J was the stalwart of the ailing defense

Petrino is in a bad situation no QB, no WR's, no defense. but he will use Atlanta's high draft pick try to land brian brohm who has expirence in the Petrino offense from their days together at Louisville. the WR's have never been in the atl since andre rison was there 10 years ago.

it is really unfair to compare petrino with spurrier after only one season in which the starting qb petrino had expected to be playing is going to prison.

Bottom line he is the coach - the players need to play. Atlanta hass been in all this trouble lately - who traded Matt Schaub - not the coach. They thought Michael Vick was going to be everything - now look. The players need to let the coach do his job.

He's been dealt a crappy hand since he became coach. He hasn't had a fair shot since he's been there. I'm sure they cut Grady Jackson for a purpose. He had something against the Falcons. Hall is a spoiled baby who thinks he's Deion Sanders. He's good, but I've seen Chad Johnson school him. Now they are starting to revolt against the team. The owner and GM need to step in and talk to the players because it's getting out of hand and it shows on the field. I'm glad I'm not a Falcons fan.
