By Christmas the regular season is almost over, so depending on the perks the club offers (priority seating for games, live updates on your phone, etc etc), you may not be getting the bang for your buck for like, 9 months after you enroll in the club. If his birthday is closer to the start of the season save it for then!

yeah that would be a awesome gift , i would know because i'm a member as well. You also get a membership card and ticet plans for group trips to the games.
