| Which coaching principle would you respond to best: Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick, or Tony Dungy? |
Those 3 are so different, yet have all been extremely successfull- whom do you think has the best coaching method?? |
I would say Bill Bellichick. He knows who fits the franchise and is good at making combinations of plays and is a three time Super Bowl coach. Parcells wouldn't be the best because he didn't succeed as the two other coaches and didn't try to do something different to help the team. Dungy, I gotta give props to him but he has great players to work around with that any coach would look good coaching the team and doesn't do as many things to help the team as Belichick... |

Dungy. He's a combination of the other two. You get the best of all from Tony Dungy. Parcells! I love to see him yell at the players, especially Owens. I also love his press confrences. Their so hilarious! He always gets mad at the media people. I also live Cower's coaching style too. Whenever his team does bad his always makes that face with the chin sticking out to the players, good times........ def. not Parcells out of that group. Belicheck is an awesome coach, but Tony D.'s my fav coach besides Sean Payton (he ressurected my team). I really like Belichick, because he believes in his players and puts them in postion to win. Mr. Dungy is probably one the greatest coaches ever. He went 9-0 two seasons in a row. Amazing leader, confident, trusts all of his players. Parcells is also a good coach though. Motivational and knowledgeable. would u rather listen to a super bowl player and coach winner or just coach? Dungy. Belichick I would respond to Parcells better I think it definitely depends how your team is made up. Some guys respond differently to "tough love" (Parcells), and some guys aren't mature enough to handle the coach being a nice guy (Dungy). Also, not every guy on the team should be treated the same. For instance, if a kicker misses a short field goal, you can't/shouldn't ride him like you would a linebacker that didn't hustle on a play. I think the effectiveness of coaching principles is a function of how the team is made up. |
