Four, each lap is a quarter mile, trust me a spent alot of mornings 5am, running miles in college football while being timed. We used to call it EMTC, Early morning track club. Thank God it payed off............Have a great day... |

8 4 Most football fields are surrounded by quarter-mile tracks, so 4. 8 each mile is a quarter mile. so that would make it four(4) laps around a football field usually four but i guess it depends on how much of a dick your coach wants to be in judging what exactly is the football field my coach always said the concession stands and seats were included in the football field if you ran on the lines that border the field, making sharp corners, You need to run 4 laps around a football field for a mile. 4 laps, all we do is run during the summer and during the season, so I should know !!! |
