Definition of Field Goal in Football?

So I was playing Madden today and noticed the wind speed was very high (~40 mph). Me and my roommate asked ourselves two questions that arose from noticing the high wind speed:
1) What happens if the field goal crosses the plane created by the crossbar and goalposts, and, due to wind speed, is blown back on the field? Does this count as 3 points?
2) Regardless of the outcome of (1), has this ever happened in real life (NFL or otherwise)?

A field goal (formerly "goal from the field") in American football and Canadian football (collectively called gridiron football) is a goal that may be scored during general play ("from the field").

Execution of a field goalA field goal may be scored by a placekick or the very rare drop kick. The ball must pass "through the uprights", that is, over a crossbar 10 feet off the ground and between upright posts 18' 6" (5.55 m) apart, to count, and the kick must not be a kickoff or a free kick following a safety. A field goal can still be good even if the ball hits an upright or the crossbar. The rules of the particular sanctioning authority may impose additional requirements. A successful field goal scores three points.

That's a really really good question. Yes, it counts, because the ball clearly crossed the uprights, and do to nature was blown back, it would count. No, I dont think it has ever happened.

If the football crossed the plane of the goalposts, regardless of whether it gets blown back or not, it still counts. I do not know if this has ever happened before

1)it has already gone through therefore it is 3 points
2)no thats never happened and probably never will.

Yes. Once the ball breaks the plane of the goalposts in the NFL or the goalline in NCAA and HS, the ball is dead and the kick is good if it passes through. The wind blowing it back means nothing. As for it happening in real life, I've seen it happen on the field of play, but haven't seen one be blown back out from between the uprights.
