Field goal questions?

I am an up comming freshman at a high school that doesnt have a kicker on either the varsity or jv, i have a couple of questions to ask so that i can become better. I have practiced with a college ball for the past 7 months i can kick the ball 45 yards i have made that am couple of times, how much smaller is the high school ball then the college ball?; also from what i have seen people use kicking tees to kick field goals off (of i practice with a tee) how come the people use like the 1 inch tees? should i use one?

if you didnt use a tee be for then when you do and get used to it you will kick further so dont worrie about it

In high school football it is normal that a field goal kicker would use a tee to kick the ball off of, in the nfl i know that they cannot use them and at the college level i'm not positive on whether or not that can use them, as for the ball size, i think that the college ball is a tiny bit wider then a high school ball.

First of all, I doubt that you kick 45 yards as a freshman that just picked it up. Maybe as a kickoff.

Anyways, I kick 50+ field goals, and here is what I can tell you.

In High school, you do not have a choice to use the tee or not. You must use the tee.

To increase distance, get better form and flexibility.

In college and pro, there is NO TEE.
