| Why can't Martin Luther King holiday be the Monday after the Super Bowl? |
|
His birthday is Jan. 17th, but the holiday is always a Monday. No one wants off a day in the middle of January. February is Black History Month anyway. Why not move his holiday to the Monday after the Super Bowl? |

why dont we just make the day after the super bowl a james earl ray holliday? |

why can't they just have the super bowl on a saturday? chill out there buddy you cant move peoples birtdays around just for your delight That is actually a very good question. They should move it, but it is too late. yes lets vote for it on the next election Because the date of the super Bowl changes too much. Why celebrate the birth of someone who did no good for our country? Everyone heralds him as a such a great leader for the black community... I don't see what positive progress has been made. yaaa okkkkaaay................... there gonna move a national holiday for you........good luck trying though You already gone to have next monday off which is Abraham Lincoln Birthday and the Monday after Lincoln's Birthday is George Washington Birthday and you gonna have that Monday off..February is already a short month..You don't need that many days off..When are you gonna learn? Where I'm from my daughter is getting Monday and next Monday off for the holidays..How about you? because its not nah i like his holiday where it is because my birthday is on the 18th & sometimes i'm able to get my b'day off when it falls on a monday & the Super Bowl isn't always in Feb anyway, is it? lol why don't you speak to his mother and blame her for not holding him in her womb an extra month so you could enjoy a day off after a sporting event. Ummm. Martin Luther King Jr. was not born in february you genious. If someone tried to celebrate my birthday two weeks late I would be ticked. I would think they forgot about me. Because the two teams sent too much time on two weeks for the rest before ready to play in Super Bowl game. Now the NFL rules has change, as the super bowl week is cut to two weeks from a week of rest. since 2003 as New England vs. Carolina. IGNORANT QUESTION,THATS NOT HIS BIRTHDAY SO WHY MOVE IT... GET A LIFE AND LETS SEE IF YOU MAKE HISTORY |
