chuck bednarik of the eagles in the like 60's Ronnie Lott or Mel Blount LT...no not the running back the original Lawrence Taylor It depends you have to hear it. Junior Seau in his prime! i was too young to see butkus play, but heard he used to have dreams of ripping opposing players heads off. My vote would be for Ronnie Lott - that guy was unbelievable and hit pound for pound harder than anybody I've ever seen. o.j. just ask his wife Ronnie Lott Dick Butkus I'll throw Jack Lambert into the discussion. Umm Jack Tatum? Ring a bell?? Brian Dawkins in his prime. The man can lay you out so quickly you don't even know what hit you. Not to mention the fact that he hits like a damn freight train. Today it is my boy Roy Williams #31 Cowboys just ask T.O. and mcnabb LT. Hands down. Dick Butkus - without question! Players feared playing the Bears and had nightmares. Runningbacks developed mystery injuries to get out of playing against Butkus. Many people think he was the greatest football player that ever lived. I have only been watching football for 15 or so years, but my vote goes to Ronnie Lott. dick butkus. second is lawrence taylor. Ronnie Lott The Assassin - Jack Tatum Deacon Jones he planted them. Doug Plank, of the Bears. Jack Tatum, Deacon Jones, Dick Butkus |
