| Is this 1994 all over again? |

In 1993, the Dallas Cowboys had assembled the best team in history. They had to endure the first down years after already being the most consistently good team in NFL history. Then the NFL kicked in the salary cap and unrestricted free agency. The 49ers went way over the salary cap and still needed a few cheesy ref calls to beat the depleted Cowboys. Otherwise, the Cowboys win 6-7 Super Bowls in a row. Seems like the Patriots are getting the same deal as the 49ers were then. The 70's Cowboys were 3 outrageously good and lucky plays from winning five Super Bowls in the 70's. Even if you give the steelers a close ein in '75, the cowboys should have won in '71 and '78. Roger Staubach at 38 years old played perhaps the best game a QB ever played in the 1978 Super Bowl. Who would have thought that the most sure-handed tight end ever (Jackie Smith who owned EVERY tight end record) would drop that pass that would have put the Cowboys over the top? To this day, my uncle calls him the sickest man in America! |

ive always hated the niners.....and we will make our return...as for the pats....its just crazy that they can afford so many good players the best team in history? i don't think so. try the 85 bears probably. they only gave up 10 points the entire playoffs. 85 bears HA If I am supposed to believe your conspiracy theory then you have to believe mine. If you are talking about the pass interference from Deion to Irvin in the NFC Championship, even when the referees will call it San Fran still would have the lead with 3 points in less than 5 minutes, Dallas couldnt change the way of the game, 49ers defeat the Cowgirls in all aspects of the game to become the FIRST ever to win 5 superbowls. |
