| Coaches Vs Players? |

When is it the coaches fault the team lost and when is it the players fault? Is it fair a coach gets fired or is it simply the cheapest rout? |

It's the coach's fault when they are down in the first half and there are no half-time adjustments. It's the players' fault when they drop easy passes, miss tackles, catch fumblitis, don't keep their emotions in check and get stupid penalties (unsportsmanlike conduct, excessive celebration), etc. Like San Diego should not have fired Marty, they had the best record last year, and I hate to say this, but I'm not too sure they can reach the Super Bowl with Norv Turner. |

Hmmmm.....let me think back to the Superbowl between the Raiders and the Buccaneers. Bucs had the best pass defense in the league, best overall defense as a matter of fact. However, if they had a "weak" spot, it was against the run. The Raiders proceeded to throw the ball 9 million times, resulting in delicious interceptions and a Superbowl loss. Had they ran the ball, who knows.......but that is a case of the coaches blowing it. it depends, if the coach apparently does everything him and his coaching staff can do to prepare you for a game ie. show their defenseive formations, shows offensive plays that they like, and the players fail to play... it is the players fault... however if the coach seems like he doesnt care and doesnt prepare you for a game, it is his fault |
