So what, are NFL players more physcially fit them WWE Superstars?

Do football players do more excersies for in order to be great football players while WWE wrestlers do more excersises that require them to be great wrestlers?

Or are the football players really in slighty better shape than the guys in the WWE?

How would an NFL player last in an Iron Man Match with Kurt Angle?

Are you kidding...
Not that wrestlers aren't fit...
Sorry, I just can't do this...
It's madness, madness I tell you.

Well with the fact that its staged and punches arent landed alot, NFL players are more fit

iron man match woud be up to the writers who wins, WWE stars are fit, real fit

I think both are demanding in their own ways.

NFL has brutal contact and play, but most of the exercising/training is done at one facility, which you don't pay for....

WWE is demanding as well on the body and requires wrestlers to basically fend for themselves with workouts on the road and not a lot of dietary support.

I think that they are both equally in great shape.

Are you serious?...Don't make a fool out of yourself...Football players are more fit than wrestlers...One sport actually IS a sport, and one is choreography...While Kurt Angle actually was a college wrestler(where wrestling actually IS real), to answer your question, Kurt Angle would get killed by a football player...

Well its a different kind of shape...Football players have to not have strength but be very mentally quick. Its a game of skill and strategy..... You can be the strongest person alive but if you don't have the physical AND MENTAL quickness you wont go far.... .....Its on the spot split second decision making where as WWE its all planned out....And you can't really compare a team sport to an individual sport...

Those tubby down linemen sure look in as good a shape as tubby wrestlers.

It's a different type of workout.

Football players require more natural endurance and power than pro wrestlers because their games, for the most part, last much longer then pro wrestling matches. The pro wrestlers, while athletic, work out for more cosmetic reasons than practical reasons.

It's not that one is in better shape than the other, it's just a different type of shape.

As for Kurt Angle, that's hardly a fair fight considering that Angle is a Olympic gold medalist in wrestling. How long would Kurt Angle last in a NFL field? Asking any athlete to step into the realm of another sport is putting him at a disadvantage.

Well if we were talking about real wrestling (college, olypmics, folk style, greco-roman, etc.). i could guarantee you that the average wrestler is in much better shape than the average football player. and a wrestler would perform better in a football game than vice versa. wrestling is easily the most mentally, physically, and emotionally demanding sport there is. There is no one to help you and it is a one on one throwdown between 2 men who have been training at least 25 hours a weak to beat the guys out there with em. i once saw a 150 pound wrestler pin a 225 pound lineman in about 40 seconds.
