| What NFL player is a good pick for getting sacks this year? |
|
Proven by the amount of sacks made last year. |

The easy answers are Shawn Merriman (who led the league in sacks last year despite serving a suspension) and Jason Taylor (the Defensive Player of the Year.) But I am going to throw Terrell Suggs out there from the Baltimore Ravens. He has never recorded less than 8 sacks and he just keeps getting better. I am also going to throw Aaron Kampman from the Packers out there. He recorded 15.5 sacks last year. |

He may not be the league leader this year, but Jason Taylor will have at least 14. Merriman, And I'm hoping Simeon Rice (Bucs Fan) probably a outside linebacker or a d end i would pick shawn merriman Shawn "lights out" Merriman. He led the league with sacks last year even after sitting out 4 games. Aaron Schobel, Buffalo Bills. He's got an engine. Shawn merriman or Dwight freeney. With the way the defensive scheme is set up it will be Adalius Thomas of the Patriots. Him or Merriman. We'll have to see if Shawn can stay away from the juice. All o the others mentioned are great candidates to take a shot at it as well. Merriman, Demarcus ware, Adalius thomas and of course Jason Taylor The dark horse candidate this year will be Tamba Hali of the Chiefs. He had 8 sacks his rookie year, but was only playing limited time and had to split time between DT and DE. He'll stay outside on the DE position this year and with the quickness and strength he possesses he'll earn himself 12 + sacks. OSI UMENYIORA, DE NY Giants #72 Shawne Merriman Shawne Merriman will lead the league in sacks...again |
