| Which football player do you think has the talent to be the next L.T.? |
|
We all know that LaDainian Tomlinson is a rockstar RB along with Shaun Alexander, Larry Johnson, and retired players like Emmitt Smith and Jim Brown. Since it's a tossup between Frank Gore and Steven Jackson, I'm going to put this thing to a vote; pick the answer that best represents your own opinion. |

I'm gonna say Adrian Peterson next year, and possibly darren mcfadden when he gets older. Just because I'm an Oregon fan I'm gonna say that Jonathon Stewart willl be the next LT. |

it has to be Willis Mcgahee or the rookie Adrian Peterson Look out for Maurice Jones-Drew, hellacious rookie season last year :) I am a fan of Colorado football. I tell you this to let you know that my opinion is unbias when I say that Adrian Peterson out of OU is a special player. He's better than Maroney. We just have to see if he can stay healthy. Frank Gore had over 1600 yards rushing in only his second year in the league, I think he has a lot of potential. Darren McFadden and Adrian Peterson have the potential to be an L.T. caliber player... but not style When I read the question first I was going to say Merriman, but that was the wrong LT. No one out has the potential to be an all around RB like LT. Bush isn't big enough to get 35+ touches a game, the kid from the pats is more of a straight ahead runner like Dickerson, so on and so on. There is a kid coming to OSU that looks pretty sick, but a lot of people look sick in HS. Steven Jackson just keeps getting better and better. Keep in mind that he had a tremendous rushing season, while still leading his team in catches, too. cory dillian Keep an eye on fast Willie Parker. I am a hugh UT fan and hate OU with a passion. However if Adrian Peterson can stay healthy he could be the best RB in his generation. His only downside is that he has gottan injured alot in college... if he can stay injury free its him, hands down. Julius Jones. Big Bill had him down. Watch out, here he comes! 49ers Frank Gore. In his 2nd season was #3 running back. Or Possibly Bush. He kinda had a bad 1st yr, he might to well with his 2nd yr. Theres only one LT no-one I Am Going To Have To Say Frank Gore...In Only His Second Year, He Rushed For 1,600 Yards+ Behind An Average Offensive Line...With The Addition Of Joe Staley AndFrank Gore Staying Healthy, He Could Have Another Great Rushing Year And Probably Even Win The Rushing Title... DeMarcus Ware is the closest active player to LT as the most dominating outside linebacker in the league. Th 2 best young backs I've seen are Jarius Norwood of the Falcons and Julius Jones of the Cowboys. It all depends on who stays healthy. Steven Jackson and Frank Gore look to be the top young runningbacks. I don't think any of the rookies are going to have a big season this year. Peterson will split time in Minn. and Lynch will have a tough time because Buffalo's o-line stinks. there will not be another LT, there is one and only one...its not right comparing rising talent with those that have made their mark. Reggie Bush frank gore..easily Reggie Bush and Adrian Peterson. There isn't one yet. Adrian Peterson has durability issues. He was a stud his Freshmen year in college though. Willis McGahee couldn't hold LT2's gym bag. There aren't really any players that stick out in my mind as the next LT2. Players like him come around rarely. Shaun Alexander is not on the same level as LT, nor are the others you name in your question. |
