| Madden 08 player ratings suck!!? |
|
I know there's the edit function to change the attributes but these game makers SERIOUSLY have to watch more football during the NFL season to get it right because they NEVER get it right every year when they make a new madden game |

i kno what u mean, brett farve, as old as he is, deserves better than a 89 overall or a 86 awareness, more like a 99 awareness, but 99 injury is right for him. im sorry, but a 100 is not right, i saw reggie bushs acceleration. but john henderson being better than marcus stroud is a big shocker |

Hey yall should look at it this way alex smith didnt do much brett farve he did quit a bit and hes been in forever an d devin hester broke a record his rookie year and roy williams didnt do muc h and steve smith isnt even fast hes fast but nothing like devin hester or TO Report It So cause Carson Palmer hasn't won a playoff game he is not good? Ef that dude. He still is an awesome QB. yeah there are always mistakes in each year I would say Roy Williams is about right and so is Carson Palmers. Alex Smith's should be higher. I dont think the people at EA have any football anaylist. All they have is game makers and they depend on opinions of sports reporters, who believe it or not do show favortism to some players. They needs someone that actually sits down and watches every game of every season and determine the ratings based on that. But if they had to pay people to do that the game would be like 100 bucks a pop, so I will stick with the crappy ratings and just edit them myself. I dont see it any problem with it really. Roy Williams rating is fine. He doesnt deserve a 95 or 96. 95 or 96 is for players like Marvin Harrison, Torry Holt, and Chad Johnson. Carson Palmer is a little high I would have put him at more of a 95. Alex Smith is too low i would say like 85. But I mean the difference between a player who is like a 92 and a player who is a 95 really isnt that different. It's more about how well the person on the sticks controls them. I think Palmers is fine. Smiths should be higher. their actually pretty damn good i mean they cant be perfect, but pretty good. For the Carlson Palmer thing, its about the players stats not if hes won a playoff game. Im an Eagles fan and for the Westbrook thing, you have to admit hes not as good as he was, hes getting old and hes not as great as he once was 90+ speed and acceleration for Vince Youngs speed is ridiculous enough. He isn't that fast!!!! Giving 100 acceleration and 100 speed to Devin Hester is nice, but isn't Steve Smith just as fast? carson palmer is fine Does it matter? It's all about the stills man!! they have vernon davis at 86, when he should be 91-92, and they put Frank Gore's strength at 80, NO WAY, he carried people into the endzone. Carson shouldnt be 97 like you said, he should be 99. This guy throws better than any QB in the league, PERIOD. This team doesnt have a defense to help them out at all. 2 linebackers are out and they got a rookie and a sophmore at corner. My major nit-picks are JP Losman and Keith Ellison, as a Bills fan. I have few others(Ashton Youboty could probably be replaced by a cornerback taken in the 7th round, for example. Roscoe Parrish as well), but these are the most egreigous. JP was the 11th-rated QB last year, and generally had a very good year(far better than Vince Young, for example) but he gets a 82OVR, which is at least two points too little. 85-86 would be ideal. But that's nothing compared to Ellison. Ellison was our de-facto starting weak-side linebacker, and saw extensive playing time even after Takeo Spikes started playing again, and there is no question that Ellison outplayed him. He's a great open-field tackler and is very quick, and he never once resembled a rookie 6th-round pick. He played more like a 6-year veteran, most of the time. He should be at least 78 OVR... Apparently you have never watched an entire Cincinnati Bengals game because Carson Palmer is a stud. He picks defenses apart almost as well as Manning. |
