I have a similiar question, but this one is more specific. I play in Southern California, so I want CIF rules. I understand it needs to be approved by NFHS and be the right dimensions. Under what other cirumstances will an official not let you use a ball that you want to?

you dont want to figure out what footballs you cant use, cause there's alot, you should start by finding the balls that are intended for highschool games. the Wilson GST is a great ball. its my teams favorite.

it just needs to to be a standard sized high school football.
