| What do you think of college football's rules changes? |

1. The NCAA retracted the clock rule that was put in place just before the '06 season. Instead of the clock starting as the ball is set in place, they will go back to waiting for the chains to be set. Thank you! Although the average game was reduced by 14 minutes, I'd rather be in my seat for that amount of time, nothing better than a college football game. |

Good changes. I'm a Houston Cougar fan. Their special teams were bad last year. Kicking off from the 30, they might set a record for kick return TD's allowed next season. Only two minutes for instant replay? Hell, give 'em an hour. Most couldn't find their asses with both hands and a map. |

All of the ones you listed plus pass interference. Instead of 15 yards it needs to be a spot foul like the NFL. 1 and 3 are good. I would rather the rules be kept as far as the clock rule. It's not that I wouldn't mind the game to go on longer, but leave it just because. Kicking off from the 30 oughta be interesting to see. I cant say how I feel about that, till I see a few of the good teams play a few games with that in play. My favorite part? The officals maximum minutes on making a call. I've gotten so sick of officials taking forever, no matter how they rule. I just feel like shaking them saying "come on, damn it! I can even call that play cause I saw it. Why can't you?" haha I like these changes but I think one more change that is critical is the defensive pass interference penalty. They should change to NFL ruling for that, as a Rutgers fan I saw the worst case of pulling down a faster WR to save a touchdown against Cincinnati, its a lame way for defenders to stop a faster WR I love the elimination of the new clock rules. Those were terrible. Moving the kickoffs back will only make the game more exciting with more returns that can change the course of a game quickly. |
