What do you think of the "Roy Williams" "Horse Collar" rule?

Should it be a rule? ..or not?....any why?

Its not the tackle that injures players...its the way he falls on their legs.
Williams is a thug. How many careers will he endanger before they kick his sorry butt out of the game?

yes it gets people injured

Yes, it can ruin a career, especially on turf.

absolutely

Yes, it's a good rule. Williams has injured more than one player with it. The next time he does it he should get a 4 game suspension, minimum.

It's just more B.S. to help offense even more. What's next, no defense on the field until third down?

I wish I had a rule created for me....And yes, it should be a rule because it's dangerous and is it really necessary? If you are close enough to horse collar somebody, you are probably close enough to tackle them some other way. And half of the horse collars I see, if not more, are out of bounds where the runner is going to the sideline anyway.

I wish tripping was allowed though...that would change the game a little.

i don't understand the difference between grabbing the back of the shoulder pad(penalty) and the back of the jersey(no penalty). either way the tackler falls on the back of the legs.
