After that game, Redskin (i.e. Losing) QB Sammy Baugh was asked what he thought the score would have been if the Redskins had scored first.

Baugh's answer: 73 to 7.

For their last couple of touchdowns, the Bears were also asked by the officials to pass for the extra point rather than kick, as a number of footballs had been lost going into the stands on extra-point kicks.
