In my belief, the main reason why my Patriots have been doing so well and beating up their opponents, and stealing wins like taking candy from children is because of the personal issue of the video tape allegation and Bill Bellichick, Tom Brady, and the crew took it personally to show that they don't need any video tapes to prove that they can be at the top of the game.

But I realize that there are still some users on here who don't believe the Patriots are for real. There are many of you who still don't believe in the Patriots. But remember this: the question about who would win, the 'Skins or Pats was asked over 3,000 times on Y!A and over 50% of the users said 'Skins and were confident in their so-called "defense." No good defense lets the other team run up the score 52-7, now do they? Even a great defense like Washington can't stop the Patriots. So please just admit it by now all of you doubting it, the Patriots are for real this season. They're taking the Lombardi home with them.

What in your opinion is the main reason that many fans have a hard time admitting that the Patriots are for real are are strong Super Bowl contenders this year and undefeated contenders? I think the main reason is that they hate the Patriots because of envy. They hate the Patriots because they're doing much better than "their team" and/or they crushed "their team" this year in a victory. Stop hating us because you're jealous. Give a legitimate reason to hate on us. And if you mention the cheating scandal, oh boy I will just....

The only reason their record is unmatched is because Indy had a bye week, you can't win games you don't play.

Anyone who doesn't believe the Patriots are for real is just in denial. They're pretty tough but running up the score all the way until the last whistle is getting old and is making the whole organization look like jerks.

The Patriots are for real, but so are the Colts. Anyone who thinks either team will simply run over the other is a fool.

I just don't care for the "Best Team Ever" moniker that has been self-applied. I do not doubt them. I do doubt, however, that they will go undefeated. I think they can go undefeated, but their chance is about as good as any other top ranking NFL team.

Ha I'm Chiefs fan but they could never beat the Patriots the Chiefs are terrible. They need to fire Herm Edwards get a new offensive line and trade Larry Johnson!

I guess we will find out who the best team is on Sunday. I am not a Patriot fan simply because of the way the kept knocking the Colts out of contention in previous years. I'd like to believe that the tide is turning although we will find out on Sunday...

Oh, I believe they are for real. But I am just waiting for tragedy to strike. Nobody can be that good for that long, and never have an injury. Especially people as cocky as NE. (Even though they have every right to be cocky, its just getting annoying.)

I think the test of a good team is injuries. And so far, NE has never had to deal with a difficult one.

im a pats fan (they live in my area, but i dont watch any of their games, but I might as well root for 'em) and the people who arnt and hate on them are prob just jealous. they are soooooooo good.

Both teams are great this year, and the upcomming game will be a tough win for both teams, but the Patriots right now have a very strong offence and defence, I believe they have too many strengths on the team. So I believe the Pats will win 38-31 Honestly.

People just hate that they go for it on 4th down more than anyone in the leauge even when they winning. It's kind of arrogant.

They are a great team no doubt. I can though, give you lots of reasons to hate them over and above the cheating thing(which is still a big deal) harrison on drugs, mocking other teams celebrations and pretending they are a classy team oriented organization, Belichek is ungrateful and a dick. I won't say they are not for real, and I even think Brady is an ok person!

and for the record I am an Eagles fan and I have no delusions that the Patriots will kick the living hell out of Philly. won't stop me from rooting for them but I won't say we are a shoe in to win...not even close.

first off i want to say the guy who said the chiefs could win is an idiot. Patriots got its all there offense is unstoppable the defense could be better but gets the job done. The patriots and colts will be a good game but not that good the patriots will pull away with a couple touchdowns. Im confident that patriots will be victorious.

Of course they're for real.... no one doubts that. I'll admit that I expected that last game to be much closer than it was, and good job Pats for putting on a clinic.

That being said, I don't think they're going to go undefeated. And I don't think they will win the Super Bowl.

But then again, this is coming from the same guy who said Trent Green will be on injured reserve by week 2.... that didn't happen until October 7th....
