| SUPER BOWL Question.? |
|
First I want you to know something. In NFL history, there has never been a Super Bowl to be played outside of the U.S. So does anyone think the Super Bowl should also be played in other countries?? Keep in mind that there are plenty of stadiums through out the world that are well qualified to host a Super Bowl. And this could also make the Super Bowl a lot more popular. |

yea i agree you would get a lot more people to watch if its in another country |

never happened yet. and i doubt it will, because you take the game away from the core fans. you can get a regular season game but never the Superbowl. I don't think the NFL is ready for that yet. It would take a serious investment to move it somewhere else, not to mention that the American fans would be livid that all of the tickets would go to foreigners who aren't really fans. It might happen someday but none of the other major sports have done it, save for Canada, and I would be really surprised to see it happen ever. no superbowl has ever been played outside the us. i think it should stay in the us, football is known is americas sport, and it is the national football league, not the international football league. never happened and it should never happen.... i don't think it should nor do i think it ever will be, unless there are nfl teams outside our borders someday. No, because the super bowl has to be in the U.S. Football was played overseas so the NFL can promote interest in football instead of soccer. The super bowl is a very important American sporting event, so it has to be in the U.S. to attract spectators. The Nfl just had their first regular season game outside of the US...and it will be awhile before they get a super bowl outside and when i mean a while i mean 20 years or more...even tho i am for it sure i would think a super bowl in another country would work out well better than regular season games anyways well roger said that he never said he would do it but that he never denies the option to either. I honestly believe that it will happen eventually. No where in the near future though, I'd say once the Europeans got deeper into football and less in soccer and rugby, thats when we'll go over for the domination; much like what we will do to iran to start the next world war!!! Insiders, Gulianni already won presidency and the voting hasnt even started!!! We're in trouble!!! We are corrupt people im so sorry to say. The NFL is a great league with a great fan base. Unlike the lenghty baseball and basketball season, NFL fans get 16 regular season chances to watch their favorite team. Someone(s) will follow their team for 16 weeks only to see them play the Super Bowl in a foreign country. How do the fans benefit from this? Do we ask the fans to apply for passports and pay to fly to a foreign country to watch America's game? The leauge do not need to focus on marketing the NFL overseas. If it's not broke, don't fix it!! Your focus have to be on the fans who've given your league the success it enjoys. To support a team to the Super Bowl to watch them play it overseas is like taking a girl to dinner and dancing only to watch her make love to another man at the end of the night. American fans best interest first NFL. I know that the NFL is a $ billion investment, but there are some thing that are worth more then money and one is tradition. I don't support the idea at all. If people aren't wanting to watch the NFL now, what makes them [nfl] they want to watch a super bowl? You have to consider the odds as well. Are people really going to understand that game? are they going to respect if or mock it as they do now? how many people can afford to go to other countries to go to the superbowl i went to sb 40 i barely had enough for that mostly because my job sucks but how would i be able to afford to go to a superbowl out of the us that is absurd goodell is a idiot especially with moving the probowl befoe the superbowl I hope it dosent. no...because all of nfl's fans wouldnt be there...and people who arent really fans would go instead......if they ever did that then the tickets better come with plane tickets so all the true fans can go to that foreign country The Super Bowl is the most watched event for one day than any sport, but the reason for it is because of the american football fans,it's already hard for life long fans to see their favorite team make the playoffs and on to the Super Bowl, imagine how harder it would be for them to go to a different country, that's like having a bullfight in Miami because the spaniards in spain are crazy about their bullfighters I think then we should just Have world league Football because then there would more powerful teams ya it would be cool to play in Iraq? The superbowl is popular in other counties as now. While there are people in other counties who do enjoy football, it's Americans that love Football. The NFL will lose money on the deal because it's the fans who go nuts for the tickets to the superbowl and will pay the asking price. However many of these fans aren't going to be able to fly overseas purchase tickets, and hotel rooms for the even. Remember the American dollar is down. Well, I'm an NFL fan living in a foreign country, and I actually agree that it would be a bad idea. No, it should be played HERE! |
