I live in Georgia where high school football is huge. These people go absolutely nuts over it. The biggest rivalry that stands out is Brookwood/Parkview in 8-AAAAA. Their uniforms make it look like Florida St. & Clemson are playing each other. The only state I could imagine it being bigger in is maybe Texas.

You must be talking about the northern part of Texas. Last game between Louisiana and south Texas, Louisiana won big time.

In order, I'd say, Texas, California, Florida, Pennsylvania and Alabama.

California...hands down. They only make movies about Texas football (in California) to make it all the sweeter when another state outside, comes and trounces Texas.
