If they don't own it, do they rent it? If so, how much? Where can I find info about this?

They don't own Texas Stadium,.I read somewhere that its going to be demolished and turned into shopping centers and theaters and stuff like that, Very sad I know. As for the new Stadium, I'm not exactly sure how that works since Jerry Jones is paying more towards the stadium than the city of Arlington is!! So it seems like he would be the majority owner.

it's owned by the city of irving, texas, and it's future is anything but certain. it's at a major freeway interchange where 183 turns into i-30 and many other major arteries converge. i believe current plans are for the city to try and maintain it as a multi-use facility, but long term, just not certain at this time.

yes jerry jones got a sweat heart deal from the city of arlington and the cowboys will own a majority of the new stadium, or 'jerrys world' as we locals call it. that stadium is going to be awesome! it is going to come in at just over 1 giga bux to build. that's a billion with a B.

yes, the cowboys have a lease deal with irving. i have no idea about the details of the lease. parking, concessions, as well as lease payments are all involved. i do know that under the contract, once the cowboys were officially leaving for arlington, irving came down hard on the boys and jones and the fans. the city added a five dollar charge for parking and made jones pay for some absurd maintenance on the stadium they were allowed under the contract. for example, jones had to pay for re-painting the roof, (it didnt need painting).
