How is the Cotton Bowl decided? I know it is an SEC team but I want to know how they pick that SEC team. I've got tickets coming and I want to get a good guess on who I'm going to see.

I know things might change too but I just want to know how they pick this one so I can estimate.

cotton bowl gets 3rd or 4th pick from the SEC. outback and capital one pick SEC teams before. you are looking at alabama or Auburn. that's if 2 SEC teams get in the BCS.

it will go like:
NC- LSU
Sugar- UGA
cap one- Florida
out back- tennessee or Auburn
Cotton- Alabama or auburn

i am going to guess Alabama because i think their fans travel the best.

Given the tumultuous standings in the SEC right now, who can say from that division. Probably whoever finishes 2nd in the SEC East.

Let's assume LSU wins out and goes to the NC game. Whichever SEC team has the higher BCS ranking at the end will go the Sugar Bowl. Right now that's Georgia. Which would put whomever finished with the next best SEC record will go to the Capital One Bowl. Right now that is Tennessee, I believe. Whomever is ranked after that in the SEC would go to the Cotton Bowl, which right now would be Florida. But it could easily go to Auburn again.

From the Big 12... I'm going to guess Kansas

The cotton, outback, and chick fil-a bowls have sec pick 3-5. the cotton has preference over a west division team.

I think the winner of the auburn-alabama match. However, they could go for a east team since auburn or alabama winner will still have 4 losses.
